1. Read over the syllabus and ask for any clarifications over the syllabus when prompted.

2. Read through the first two blog posts, including the links within each post: "Active Reading" and "Taking Notes By Hand."

3. Read Chapters 1 and 2 in Writing Arguments (listed on syllabus reading schedule)

4.  "Start a thread" that answers the Discussion Board "Introductions."
